Larry Woods, DVM

Interests: Surgery

  • Past President, Oklahoma Veterinary Medical Association

Dr. Woods was born in Purcell, Oklahoma in 1952. He attended elementary and high school in Woodward. He completed his undergraduate degree at Murray State College and graduated from OSU College of Veterinary Medicine in 1977. He practiced in Ardmore from 1977-1989. He opened Memorial Road Pet Hospital in 1992. He served as the Secretary/Treasurer of the OVMA from 1994-1997and as President in 2002.He has a ranching partnership with his father and raises commercial Angus cattle.  He spends his spare time with his sons Kelly and Casey.



 

Steve Quillin, DVM

Interests: Oncology & Dermatology

Credentials:

  • Past Director, Oklahoma Veterinary Medical Association 

Dr. Qullin was born and raised in South Haven, Kansas. He attended high school in South Haven. He completed his undergraduate program and graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1974. He practiced veterinary medicine in the Air Force for two years before returning to private practice in Marquette, Michigan until 1977. Dr. Quillin moved to Edmond in 1977 and practiced at Bryant Veterinary hospital until 1996. He then served as a mission’s pastor for Life Church for ten years before partnering with Dr. Woods. He serves as a board member for the Christian Veterinary Mission, an organization that promotes animal care and Christian values around the world and for the Community Enhancement Network, a humanitarian organization promoting health and education around the world. In his free time he enjoys visiting his children and grandchildren. He enjoys golf, hunting, fishing, reading and spending time with his wife, Nancy.



 

 

Rosemarie Strong, DVM

Interests: Internal Medicine

Dr. Strong was the first person in her family born and raised in the United States. Her family is from Columbia, South America. They came here over 50 years ago to seek polio treatment for Dr. Strong's older sister. She attended Northwest Classen High School in Oklahoma City and then went to Oklahoma State University where she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1989.

Dr. Strong met and married the love of her life, Eric Strong at OSU. He is the chief engineer for the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority. He has been quoted as saying "Rosemarie, when you bring the elephant home I am out of here!"

She believes she has the smartest and best looking children in the world. Maria is an English equestrian rider. Nicholas loves to build everything and anything. Dr. Strong's pets include a German Shepherd named Black Jack; Cloudy and Maggie, their cats and Maria's horse, John Boy.
